If you read nothing else...
Learn2Live is a true partnership; presentations are run with representatives from Local Authority Road Safety Teams, Fire & Rescue Service, Police, Paramedics, Family Liaison Officers, Consultants as well as family speakers. Personal stories and experiences are used in a hard hitting impacting emotional format, to 6th form and college students.
Presenting to audiences from 100-2000 students a background film takes the audience on an evening out which tragically ends in a serious road traffic collision and the fatality of a passenger. The film is strategically paused as the emergency service arrives on scene. A representative from that service then comes onto the stage and speaks about a personal experience at a collision they have attended.
The final speakers have the greatest impact; these are offenders, survivors, relatives of road crashes, mothers / fathers who have lost sons or daughters in a crash or have had life changing injuries following a collision.
